Carithers Flowers Design Favorite

Snapdragons have a snout-like shape that inspired their scientific name, from the Greek words (ant), meaning like, and (rhin), meaning nose. Children were no doubt the first ones to press the snapdragon's outer envelope ever so gently to make the tongue lash out and see their teeth. To preserve the snapdragon's splendor, do not remove more leaves than needed because this stimulates the blooms to drop off the stem. In arrangements, snapdragons last up to 8 days.
