The next key to creating special floral designs is a great floral design staff. Carithers Flowers has a number of AIFD certified designers on staff. Our design team is in fact nationally acclaimed. We have actually handled the floral design for several Presidential Inaugurations and multiple national political conventions.

Fresh Farm Direct Flowers

One of the things that really makes us unique is our ability to purchase direct from the farmers who actually grow the flowers. Most flower shops in the Atlanta area don't have the buying power to do that. They have to purchase from wholesalers and middlemen. Buying direct offers huge advantages for Carithers Flowers and for our customers. We are able to purchase flowers in bulk, often at prices that are below what the flower wholesalers offer. The flowers we purchase are shipped direct to our store. That reduces the amount of time between when the flowers were cut and when we are able to use them in arrangements and deliver them to our customers. This means we are delivering fresher flowers to our clients. Fresher flowers means longer vase life for the stems in the arrangement, meaning you get to enjoy them longer.

Buying direct also means that we have the opportunity to purchase a higher quality product. The farms we work with all understand the high standards we have for every flower we send out to our customers. We are able to purchase premium quality, as opposed to the stock variety that many of the wholesalers grab, due to the lower prices tied to the lower quality product.
