National Good Neighbor Day

In our hectic lives, it’s easy to forget about those around us beyond our colleagues, friends, and family. Sometimes, with commutes and long hours, we don’t even get to know our neighbors. However, there is a special day in September that encourages that sense of community to get to know our neighbors and help each other out. September 28th is known as National Good Neighbor Day. Here are some ideas on being a good neighbor and starting a great relationship with those around you: Introduce yourself and bring a nice gift basket or a  special gift of flowers or a plant. Ask if there is anything you can do to help an older neighbor who lives alone, such as yard work. Have a block party and invite all the neighbors at one time. Create a neighborhood watch group to look after each other even after this day is over. Fall Flowers and National Indoor Plant Week are Here!

The third week of September brings us two great occasions to celebrate. The first is National Indoor Plant Week, which celebrates the health benefits of indoor plants. This event occurs during the third week of every September. Then, there is the arrival of Fall, which arrives on Saturday, September 22nd. Behind-the-Scenes Photo Shoot for Our New Products

We’re excited to share a few of the behind-the-scenes pictures from a photo shoot we did for some new floral products and items we’ll be adding to our collections in the coming weeks. A lot of work and planning goes into creating these floral designs and products that suit our standard of quality and uniqueness. And, these latest items are no different.  Many of the new products reflect suggestions or requests from customers. Some floral designs reflect recent custom floral designs, which served as inspiration but that were not copied. Additionally, our floral designers travel and visit floral design conferences, learning about new trends and incorporating many influences they pick up along the way.
