Designers from Carithers Flowers were selected to contribute their professional floral design skills to the Callanwolde Christmas Showcase Home in Atlanta.
The lavishly decorated mansion which now houses the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, a non-profit community arts center, was transformed into a Christmas wonderland by Atlanta’s top interior and floral design professionals. Period furniture, objects d’ art, twinkling lights, elaborate floral displays, garlands of greenery, and themed trees filled the rooms of the grand mansion, once owned by the legendary Candler family (founders of the Coca-Cola Company).
Visitors were able to tour the historic Gothic-Tudor style mansion and glimpse the magic of a “Roaring ‘20s Christmas” during Christmas at Callanwolde, an annual event held the first two weeks of December.
Carithers flowers designers and stylists Nichole Ellise Binaco Parker and Phillip Furgalack lent their award-winning skills to decorate the Grand Staircase and Landing of the Callanwolde mansion with fresh Christmas greenery and a breath-taking tree that left visitors wide-eyed with awe. Parker, Head of the Events Design Team, and Furgalack, designer, consultant, and visual merchandiser for the weddings and events team at Carithers worked together to create a memorable display in the Callanwolde home.
