The last week of August is designated at Be Kind to Humankind Week, which is a reminder to do and say positive things to the people around you. It’s celebrated on a global basis from August 25th to August 31st every year.
This is the time to reflect on what you can do to make the world a better place and how you can practice kindness on a daily basis. Each day of this week has a unique theme, which provides a way to do something different related to kindness each day:

• Touch-a-heart Tuesday
• Willing-to-lend-a-hand-Wednesday
• Thoughtful Thursday
• Forgive your foe Friday
• Speak kind words Saturday
This gives you a chance to do something special each day for others that will make them feel good and you as well. Passing this feeling around will eventually help to start imbuing the world with kindness again rather than selfishness and hatred.
