Besides the delicious Thanksgiving feast, football, and time with family and friends – not to mention the strategy for holiday shopping days – there are other events in Atlanta for Thanksgiving that can become a part of your Thanksgiving tradition.
Check out these Thanksgiving events in Atlanta that you can enjoy with your family and friends:
The 2016 Atlanta Half Marathon and Thanksgiving Day 5K is organized by the Atlanta Track Club and has been a Thanksgiving Day tradition for years.
There are thousands of runners and volunteers that take part each year and this year is expected to top all others.
This is a great way to burn off all those calories you plan to consume later in the day plus do something to support those in need from your local community in and around Atlanta.
It’s a family event so everyone is welcome to run or walk in this Thanksgiving event.
The 69th Macy’s Great Tree Lighting is another very special event here in Atlanta that creates magical memories for you and your kids.
There will be music and other fun activities that are sure to please the entire family!
Don’t forget to also pick up some gorgeous fall flowers as part of a Thanksgiving flower arrangement or Thanksgiving flower centerpiece for your dining table.
Remember that we will be closed on Thanksgiving so that our staff can celebrate with friends and family.
However, we can’t wait to show off our new holiday collection as we re-open on Friday with our own Black Friday specials.
We also want to see you out on Small Business Saturday, supporting us and checking off some of those items on your gift list!
